Jeni Jones

For the past 20 years, Jeni has worked as a film & television executive, director, producer, screenwriter, musician, dancer, martial artist, and choreographer. She earned her BA in Theatre Directing & English Literature from Fordham University and her MFA in Directing for Film, Theatre & Television from CalArts. She’s directed theatre in NY & LA and has been credited for her creative contributions to several feature films, including Law Abiding Citizen with Gerard Butler & Jamie Foxx, Parkland, and Ron Howard’s Rush. Her recent directing of the one woman show Women on the Verge, by Kimba Henderson and starring Faith Collins, earned the production a 2017 NAACP Award Nomination and a new NY run of the play in Fall 2018.

Jeni is currently in post-production on a short film she directed called Club Rat$, which will be released in 2018 and used to help raise money for RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), and she is in pre-production on her feature film, Co-Ed, which will be produced in the upcoming year. Jeni lives in LA and works as an independent filmmaker, directing music videos, musicals, stage plays, and films. She is a black belt in Wushu (Kung fu).
